The two least important amendments to me are the fourth and fifth amendment. There are different reasons to why these are the least important; to sum up those reasons I find that these amendments are least important because, the law and court system will run more smoothly in terms of getting the right suspect behind bars.
The fourth amendment states that U.S. citizens are protected from unreasonable searches of a person's private property. I think this is one of the least important amendments because sometimes police officers need to search a person’s home immediately instead of waiting to get a warrant. Waiting for a warrant gives the suspect time and money to try to cover his tracks and get rid of evidence. Not having the fourth amendment will allow more criminals behind bars sooner. The next amendment that I find least important to me is the fifth amendment.
The fifth amendment states the government may not force U.S. citizens to testify against themselves in court. The reason I find the fifth amendment to be the next least important amendment is because it allows the judge or lawyer to see the nervousness of a suspected suspect. Sometimes if the citizen is a possible suspect and has to testify against themselves, you will be able to tell if it was that person or not by their actions up on the stand. Out of the ten amendments that i was given to choose from these are the least important to me. These amendments can also help our law system to work more effectively.
